Jakes Restaurant building

Building that Jakes is in now.
The restaurant is vacant and for lease, after the Mueller & Meyer cafe (Jacob Mueller, C. G. Meyer) moved out. In 1915 they sold "Choicest Wines, Liquors and Cigars" but when Prohibition in Oregon took effect January 1, 1916, they joined many restaurants going out of business. Jakes soon moved in.
