Photographer Ann Chaudet on Motorcycle 1920s

Anne Chaudet with her camera, driven by her daughter. Anne and her husband Alfred Chaudet were professional photographers. They opened a photographic studio in Pottawatomie County, Kansas about 1890.  The were active in several places in Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska and had a railroad photocar.  They had a studio in Pasadena in 1910 and in Long Beach in 1920.  They retired about 1930.  The daughter in the picture is Lucy Ann, who was also a photographer.   A son, Louis W. Chaudet started as a photograper with them and became a Hollywood director who made over twenty movies between about 1915 and 1930.
