The Junior Symphony of Harney County, Oregon, on the parade float built for the 1915 Burns Fourth of July parade. The leader, Mary Thompson Dodge, later moved to Portland and founded the Portland Junior Symphony. This image was widely circulated as a post card in the years preceding the First World War.
