Fish, Creel, Rod & Reel at the Stite, Oregon, 1930s

"Caught at the Stiles on the Deschutes ." The Stile on the Deschutes was a resort, with cabins and general store and gas station located 16 miles east of The Dalles. The place was considered an excellent fishing location for Redsides and Steelheads. It was opened in 1928 and closed in 1956.
