(On SW 2nd between Burnside and Ankeny on west side of street) This building at SW 2nd and Ankeny is still standing, and the original windows have changed very little over the last 80 years. The premises are currently occupied by Berbati's restaurant. (Note: at the time this photo was taken, this location was in NW Portland. The boundary was changed in 1931 and this location became (and remains) in SW Portland).
