Grave in Carson cemetery, Genoa, Nevada, of Skier John A. Thomson. Several biographies have been written about this legendary figure in the history of skiing. He was known as “Snow Shoe Thomson”. Skiing was introduced in California by Norwegian immigrants, of whom Thomson was the most famous.
