Gladys Smith hands her ticket to the driver of the Portland-bound stage bus in Cannon Beach. They are on Beach Loop Rd. (going north, on Hemlock street's south extension) at the corner of Delta St. The bus service was operated by Oregon Motor Stages, Inc. The photographer was Glady's husband, Larry Smith, who at that time was a companion of Minor White and later became president of the Oregon Camera Club.
